Boston Celtics one win away from the 2024 NBA title
The Celtics withstood a frantic Dallas Mavericks comeback attempt in the fourth quarter to win 93-87 and take a 3-0 lead in the NBA Finals. The Celtics led by as many as 29 points in the first half and held off a second-half rally from the Mavericks to cruise to a victory.
Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 29 points and 12 rebounds, while Jaylen Brown added 25 points and Marcus Smart had 10 assists.Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 26 points and nine rebounds, but he was just 8-of-22 from the field.
The Celtics can clinch their 18th NBA championship with a win in Game 4 on Friday night.
